The Islantilla Golf Resort Hotel enjoys one of the best golf courses of Huelva, and only a 40 minute transfer from Faro. 27 holes surrounded by typical landscapes of Costa de la Luz and 3 golf circuits available of 9 holes each. This was host to the Tour España Masters in 1995, and in 2000 it was listed as one of the 100 best golf courts in Europe by the magazine Golf Digest. The Islantilla Golf Resort is a 4-star hotel located in Islantilla, between Isla Cristina and the marshlands of Piedras river, offering a 27-hole golf course with extensive practice facilities.
On this trip I will be focusing on improving your short game shot selection when out playing which is so important to you improving. I will also help you to execute your short game shots better, and give you a better understanding of how the ball will react. With improvement in those areas you will be sure to see an improvement in your scores.
The first two days will see you split into two groups, Group A and Group B with the following schedule
Wednesday 3rd
Group A – 10.00am playing 18 holes
Group B – full days tuition on all 4 areas of the short game
Thursday 4th
Group B- 10.00am playing 18 holes
Group A – full days tuition on all 4 areas of the short game
The next four days will see the group back as a whole for tee off times, but you will only be playing with golfers who were in your group on the first two days. This will allow me to spend an equal time improving you, when out playing. Your front and back nines will be very different, with you playing a Texas Scramble format on the nine holes where you will be receiving tuition, and playing you own ball for the other nine. Tee times will be from 9.30am daily.
On your tuition nine holes, I will be working with you to improve your shot selection, club selection, landing zone, setup, and of course…….the result.

What you can expect to come back from this trip with, is a sound knowledge of setup and technique for the short game shots, but more importantly the ability to correctly assess and pick the right shot each time, which in turn you will you a greater chance of executing each time, and getting the result you desire.
